Hi everyone,
I’m 38, and I’ve just begun looking into the GLP/peptide space. Before this, I spent several years trying to get my health, body composition, and metabolic markers where I wanted them. I stay pretty active and lift weights on a regular basis. Building muscle and improving my overall body composition have become big interests for me. Even so, it has always seemed like keeping my weight and labs in the range I want takes more effort than it should. GLp medications helped me make some progress before, but once I came off them, I saw several of the same problems return, particularly around triglycerides and appetite regulation.
That’s how I ended up going deep into peptides. The science behind peps and the newer multi-agonists really grabs my attention, especially how they influence metabolism, insulin sensitivity, appetite signaling, and fat loss. Weight loss alone isn’t the goal; I’m also very focused on building muscle.
Beyond all of this, I live on a small farm and spend much of my time lifting, working outdoors, and going far too deep into any subject that catches my interest. ADHD BRAIN HITS HARD lol. Once I start researching something, I tend to go all in, and that is exactly what happened with peptides.
I’m here to learn from other people’s experiences, compare notes, and hopefully make smarter decisions along the way!
Looking forward to being part of the community.
