I'm pretty new to peptides — still in the learning phase and not taking any right now. Before this, I spent about 3 months on tirzepatide (from a compounding pharmacy). The appetite suppression was great, but I wasn't as fond of the expense or the tiredness. I'm someone who stays fairly active and centers my routine around exercise, yet it felt like the medication drained my motivation to work out. I'd really like to hear whether others dealt with something similar, or if it was just me being lazy
.
A bit of background: I come from a family and extended family with a lot of morbid obesity. I've never been obese myself, or even near it, but because of my family, weight and fitness have always been a bit of a fixation for me. My activity level has been what's saved me so far, but once I fall into a slump (like the one I'm in now), food turns into an obsession, the pounds add up, and my mental state goes downhill.
I'm glad I came across this forum and I'm looking forward to keeping on learning the ins and outs of peptides! Oh, and I'm from Georgia
