Thrilled to have stumbled onto a community packed with so much knowledge to soak up! The sheer volume of info floating around feels a little daunting, yet I'm eager about what's ahead. Over the past 3 years I've dropped 50 lbs thanks to compounded semaglutide prescribed by my doctor, and following a stall I'm now making the switch to reta. Just 2 weeks in, and I've noticed the grey Reta doesn't curb my appetite the way the semaglutide from my doc did. Joined up for encouragement and to follow along with everyone else's experiences. On top of that, I've dealt with lifelong inflammation in my elbows and knee, so I've begun a few peptides (bpc-157, tb-500, and KPV) hoping they might bring some relief too. Most mornings I feel like I'm double my actual age, and I'm optimistic about what's to come.

Welcome aboard! This is the right place for you. There’s plenty to absorb, but it clicks pretty quickly.

A 50 lb drop is no small feat. Plateaus are common, and moving from Semaglutide over to Reta is something many folks do.

At 2 weeks, what you’re experiencing is typical. Reta tends to build gradually and might not suppress appetite strongly at first. On top of that, “grey” versions differ, so that could be a factor as well.

Regarding inflammation, plenty of people look into BPC/TB/KPV and it can take a while before any change shows up.

One thing I’m curious about:

When you stalled, did it feel like your hunger returned, or was it just the number on the scale freezing up?

All the best,

Hey Danger1212! My stall, I think, actually began quite a while back — for some time I was sitting at about 155 lbs and going nowhere. Possibly the semaglutide dose was too high, and I was dealing with panic attacks. These past 2 months I've been taking prozac, which has wiped out all the panic symptoms (the last month especially), though I can't help wondering whether the sema played a part too. Since starting Reta, my hunger has come roaring back and I'm putting on weight. So...today I made the call to bump my reta dose from 10 units up to 20 units. Fingers crossed it goes well, but I've got immodium ready in case my stomach decides to rebel🙂

You've landed in the right spot, my friend. Go ahead and look up what you need—there should be something helpful here.
