I'm a university student located in the United States, and I'm completely new to peptides. A few of my buddies hit the gym every day and take peptides. On the other hand, I'm shorter and skinnier, and I basically never exercise. That's why I've always felt pretty self-conscious about myself.
I want to get to know this new space better and work on becoming a healthier person. (And not simply relying on them.)
I've now been using HGH for a total of 3 months. The dose went up over time: 2IUs for a couple of weeks, then 3 IUs for a couple weeks, then 4 IU for a single week, and at present 5IU. Early on I dealt with carpal tunnel, felt definitely more tired, and had surges of energy throughout the day; at this point there are pretty much zero side effects except some bloating. What I'm wondering is whether it's becoming less effective or if I'm just assimilating to the effects.
Another thing: I made the rookie mistake of not getting myself tested in blood or essentially anything before hopping on hgh. Some of my roommate's hgh was given to me, and although I'm not proud of it, I've been lacking in keeping track with my blood glucose levels with my monitor.
Any advice helps!
Honestly, jumping to 5 IU daily within just 3 months strikes me as somewhat aggressive.
Based on what I've come across, the smarter approach is typically to begin at a low dose and titrate up slowly, guided by how well you tolerate it, any side effects, and lab results — instead of ramping up too fast.
Just because the carpal tunnel issues and tiredness have gotten better doesn't automatically mean the HGH has stopped working — it could just be that your system has gotten used to certain side effects.
If I were in your shoes, I would absolutely begin monitoring blood glucose more carefully and get labs drawn, particularly IGF-1 along with the standard metabolic panel.
