A quick hello from someone who just joined and is really glad to have come across this community. I'm female, 47, reasonably fit and in good health, yet I'm eager to tackle my wine habit! (it has piled on roughly 10lb on top of what is otherwise a healthy weight for me.)

Currently I'm in week 2 of 2.5mg tirz (prescribed off label) and I'm genuinely delighted by how much it has turned down the alcohol noise.

My reason for being here is to dig deep and look into other ways of getting tirz that cost less, and also to find out about other peptides that could help my health down the line.

Hi. Another UK person on here, after much of the same, though I'm not on anything at the moment — which is exactly why I've ended up here 😂

Still figuring out how the forum works, and hoping to pick up lots of help and advice along the way

Hey!!! Thanks for replying!! Getting our heads around all of it is going to take a while I think, but this place looks absolutely stacked with everything a person could need……the digging is on us!! Best of luck to you 🙂

You as well. I've been making solid progress these past 2 days, so I'm feeling a lot more sure about this journey!

Hi! It's curious that you're already seeing effects after only a fortnight on such a small amount; that should give you plenty of room to increase later if things stall. As for me, I began at 4 mg of reta and so far I've felt nothing at all. Looking forward to hearing how things go for you. Wishing you all the best on your path!

Hello!! For me the alcohol noise vanished right away — in fact, on the very first evening, after I'd taken my initial dose that morning. My appetite has been reduced as well, though I need to watch out since I wasn't a huge overeater to begin with……and clearly I don't want to shed a lot of weight that I had no need to lose. Right now I'm 10lb above what I'd call a healthy weight for myself, but the thing I care about most is breaking my alcohol habit, which I hope will also help shift those extra 10lb. My plan is to remain at 2.5mg, but it's reassuring to know that the dose can go up if and when that becomes necessary.

My knowledge of reta is pretty limited, but this site is teaching me plenty!! I hope it begins to work for you soon and that you start seeing some results!!!
