Once I've spent a few months on Tirz, my next step will be Reta. SS-31 and MOTS-C have really caught my attention.

Peptides strike me as a captivating area.

It brings me back to the biochemistry research I was doing at 20. Phosphate buffer and 0.2-micron filters haven't been part of my routine for ages 🙂 Lately I've been checking what used HPLCs cost, with a bit of nostalgia...

A brief report on how things are going with aGLP-1s.

I spent a year on liraglutide, then six months on tirzepatide, and moving over to Reta is what got my blood sugar levels steady. Six weeks on Reta.

To track ups and downs I wear a CGM (Freestyle). On my CGM, 99% of the time is spent in the green zone. Over the course of a month there were 3 mild hypoglycemic episodes, and nothing came of them.

The dawn phenomenon is now nearly gone.

According to the CGM app, the projected HbA1c sits at about 6.5, while the blood test from February came back at 10.5.
