Hey everybody. After roughly a month of reading posts without joining in, I've finally made the choice to step forward and start posting.

For a bit more than a year, I've been using GLP medication to keep my type 2 diabetes under control. Peptides weren't where I began — I arrived here gradually after my doctor changed up my diabetes prescriptions. Janumet XR and Gabapentin had been my routine, but I kept coming across concerning reports about possible side effects, while Ozempic kept getting positive mentions. That's why I requested the change. My glucose numbers were holding steady, and as a bonus, my weight kept dropping. I went from around 226 down to 189 pounds, but at the dose I was on, the loss came mostly from being unable to keep anything down (coming out both ends!). Constant bathroom runs left me with zero energy, and my tennis matches became a real struggle.

Eventually I'd had enough, so I paused for roughly 3 months and put about 10-15 pounds back on. I then asked my doctor about trying a different option, and we moved to Mounjaro. Restarting at a low dose, I saw some improvement as I titrated upward, but then I kept hearing praise for this newer thing called Reta. I chose to give it a shot.

Reta has been part of my routine for around 4 months, and I'm increasing the dose very gradually to keep side effects from hitting me too hard. My starting point was 1mg/week for roughly a month, then 1.5mg for a few weeks, followed by 2mg for a month or two, and 3 weeks ago I stepped up to 2.5mg. Prior to Reta, my weight had risen back to 216 pounds; currently I'm at 194. Blood sugar is behaving well and the side effects are fairly easy to handle.

Now I'm considering stacking in some additional peptides. Possibly Tesamorelin plus either the KLOW or GLOW stack. I'm inclined toward KLOW for the extra peptide, though I'd really like to hear what others think about that.

I'm eager to become an active community member and to learn and grow my knowledge alongside all of you.

Glad to have you here! I've been considering looking into reta too. Appreciate you telling us how it's gone for you! Wishing you all the best!!

Welcome, fellow southeasterner. My road looks much the same — moved over to tirz from sema and added klow too. Let's see what the next 60 days bring, though it's looking hopeful so far.

Greetings, everyone! I hail from Seffner, FL. I attended Armwood HS and used to hang out around Ybor and Brandon years ago.

My own experience has been really positive, so I'd say go for it - roughly 40lbs came off over 4 months, and the fat loss was clear while muscle stayed mostly intact.

That said, I do train, keep protein high, and use TRT, all of which contribute. Even so, reta feels close to magic when the side effects are manageable.

Before you began TRT, did you get your hormones checked? I'm asking because combining reta with TRT would clearly produce stronger outcomes. And did tesamorelin or ipamorelin ever cross your mind?

Nope, I skipped that. Back when I was a young guy I lacked patience and was eager to see progress quickly, so I jumped into supraphysiological steroid use with little thought for safety. These days I've pulled way back and approach everything far more carefully. Even so, I still run blasts between my TRT stretches, pushing my androgens above normal range. Right now my weekly dose sits at a bit more than double what I take for TRT.

Tesa and ipa have crossed my mind, but I figure there's still plenty of room to add size before I start pulling the growth hormone trigger as well. That said, I know people who've run tesa, IGF-LR3, and HGH (each on its own) and gotten solid outcomes.

From what I can tell, secretagogues tend to ramp up hunger much like androgens do, which might work against GLP benefits or stack with them, all depending on what you're after.

Have you been thinking about heading down the enhanced muscle growth path?

Since I'm on the younger side too, I figured I'd first find out what getting lean alone could accomplish before heading toward enhanced muscle growth. When it comes to younger users, the long-term effects of growth hormone don't appear well understood. To begin with, I may look into some form of reta and motsc, though I'm still going through all the information.
