Hey all, Alex here, writing from Texas.
I'm a guy of 40, and my whole life has pretty much involved a fight with weight. Back in 2016 I went through bariatric sleeve surgery; that took me from 340 lbs down to roughly 260 lbs, though over the following years a large portion of that loss came back.
In 2022 I was in one of the first groups able to get tirzepatide, and it got me losing again, back to about 260 lbs. The problem is that for over three years now I've been parked at that same weight, even while staying on 15 mg/week of tirzepatide.
I work out on a regular basis, weight training plus Zone 2 cardio included. My lean mass and bloodwork are fairly decent, yet I still have about 42% body fat.
I'm eager to give retatrutide and other new options a try so I can keep moving forward. Right now I'm aiming to get down to roughly 200 lbs.
