I've been exploring peptides for a few months now, and it turns out I'd been hunting for a community like this one all along without realizing it. There's a ton of solid info here, and I think I'll be able to add a fair amount myself.

My entry point into peptides was BPC-157, and it wiped out pain from several old issues. A shoulder problem from lifting 1yr old, a knee injury from snowboarding at 20yo, and an elbow injury from jiujitsu 5years old. Every bit of pain is gone, my shoulder no longer pops, and I can sleep on my side once more. The knee result stood out the most: roughly 2 weeks into the BPC cycle it swelled up, and I nearly stopped because of it. It stayed swollen for about a week, then suddenly it was back to normal, and I could run, jump, squat or anything else with zero pain. Wild! To stay on the right side of the rules, I'll keep my current stack out of this post.

For most of my life I've been 6' and between 205-220. Not long ago I visited the dr, got on the scale, and saw I was pushing 300lb 😕. That's the main thing I'm working to change. So far I've dropped 12 lbs, but it's taken 3 months and I'm beginning to wonder whether GLP-1 is doing anything at all.

Another Texan saying howdy!

My first peptide was tirzepatide, and I've given AOD9604 and MOTS-c a shot too. BPC is still on my list of things to try—I'm researching it now.

We've got pretty similar backgrounds. At 6', I've always carried extra weight. At 23, I made the call to turn things around. By adding a good amount of lean mass, I dropped from 230 down to 185.4. That held steady for a time, but by 25-26 the pounds started coming back. Now I'm closing in on 36, and for the past few years I've felt disgusted with myself. I could tell the number was climbing past 200, and I finally told myself enough was enough. My tirzepatide start date was 5/30, and I've lost 8.1lbs since. I can't see any change yet, but I'm staying motivated.

All of that is to say: don't give up, this journey is one we're all on, and we've got this!

Appreciate it! My take is that BPC makes sense only when there is an injury. A few folks claim it shortens muscle recovery time, though for me recovery time did not really shift. I am fairly confident every one of my injury's was tendon related. MOTS-c is something I want to try at some point.
