Hi! Hello! Howdy!

I (35F) began making a real effort to shed weight at the start of November 2025, when I weighed about 245lbs. My first Tirz dose was at the beginning of December, which puts me at 5/6 months on it now. I followed the usual titration schedule, and for the last month I've been sitting at 15mg.

Sometimes it gets me down a little when I see how dramatic other people's results are, because mine don't feel nearly that extreme.

My starting weight was 245, and this morning the scale read 204.5 — I've attached graphs for reference. Honestly, I'd been stuck for most of April, bouncing around 208, so it was a surprise to step on the scale today and finally see a drop.

I'm here to gather more info so I can figure out my next move — either staying on Tirz or making the switch to Reta.

I know 40lbs isn't "nothing," but I definitely want to keep the progress going!

Welcome. That 40 lb drop strikes me as fantastic. After 4 weeks on Tirz, I'm at 219 (-6 lbs, down from 225 at the start), and reaching 204 would make me incredibly happy (that figure hasn't shown up on my scale since 2014). My target is 185 (another figure I haven't seen since 2006). Best of luck to you, and I'll be keeping up with your journey.

Welcome aboard! You're doing really well so far! I went through the same thing with tirz and eventually moved over to reta. From my experience, reta comes with a different feel. Food doesn't put me off nearly as much, so eating is still something I can do when I want to. Cravings, on the rare occasions they pop up, are still simple to turn down, and at 3mg for me right now, food noise is pretty much gone.

No matter which route you take, sticking with your self-improvement is never the wrong call. Keep it up!

I stalled out on the scale as well. Tirz has been part of my routine since 2020. There's still some weight I'd like to shed, but I'm content simply holding steady. Roughly 6 mos back, I began stacking 1.25 Cagri alongside my 10 Tirz, dosing every 2 weeks, and it appeared to break through that stall. I'm still not dropping what I need to, though it's a tiny bit here and there. That first month or so on Cagri brought serious fatigue. It would hit during the first few days after the stick. By now I've moved past the fatigue. Sure glad it didn't stick around... It was exhausting 😂

Dropping that much weight is a real accomplishment, and it is completely reasonable to want to broaden your knowledge and check out what else is out there. Both of those goals are things you are clearly moving toward. Welcome aboard, and best of luck.

Calling that nothing would be way off — you've shed roughly the weight of one of your legs!

Before jumping to Reta, maybe stack Cagri on top of your Tirz? Just an absolutely minuscule dose, though.

Would you say it works better? Is that the reason you moved to Reta, or stayed with it instead of Tirz? What does it give you that Tirz doesn’t?

The reason I made the change was that sticking with Tirz made reaching my protein target too difficult. My rate of loss has dipped slightly, yet I'm still dropping 5-7 pounds each month. According to my latest InBody scan, a significant amount of fat came off and I managed to put on a bit of muscle, with diet and exercise centered on that goal.

Switching to reta is what I credit for the results I've seen so far.
