I'm 37, male, and I hit the gym often for weight training. About 3 weeks back I began my pepper adventure with R, and the results have left me completely stunned. For months now, the rotator muscle in my shoulder has been giving me trouble at the gym, particularly with any pushing movements such as chest or dumbbell press. I want to find out what I have available for this.

Looking forward to discovering more about this space.

Hi Llanitox, glad to have you here on the forums. I’ve personally been to Gibraltar on 2 occasions, plus plenty of other trips across Andalusia. It’s a lovely part of the world 🙂

Regarding your shoulder, perhaps look into "Impingement Syndrome". That tends to be the culprit when overhead pushing movements in particular become too painful to handle.

Finding someone who genuinely knows its location—much less has actually been there—is uncommon; for that, you have my respect!

Regarding the problem, thanks for that! I'm checking into it right now.

Glad to have you here! My guess is that dumbbells beat barbells for this? Have you experimented with turning your wrist a bit so the pinky points upward while doing the dumbbell press — does that make the discomfort ease off?

I dealt with a comparable problem for a long stretch. Over the past few months, thanks to certain exercises plus BPC157, it has cleared up by 90%. These days there is no pain at all with bench press, pull ups, or overhead press.

Yes! For sure it's worse during bench compared to dumbbell press, and it's the same with pull ups and overhead press as well. Was it just BPC on its own that you used, or did you go with a blend?

Just BPC.

That said, the rehab work mattered a lot. Before, skipping it meant pain; these days I can even go without a warm-up and there’s barely any discomfort.

That's great to hear — I wasn't sure whether to go with just bcp or bcp alongside TB. Appreciate it!
