Hey all,

I'm completely fresh to GLP-1. Haven't taken any kind, ever, but Reta has really caught my attention. The feedback I keep coming across about it has been overwhelmingly positive. In the past I was in great shape and didn't rely on any supplements, though over the last 5 years I've put on quite a bit, and now I've got roughly 100lbs to shed. Since I'm a total beginner, asking most of what I want to know outright isn't really possible, so I'll be going through the forums to pick up whatever I can.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and swapping stories along the way.

Thanks,

M

Hey! My limited 4-month run with Tirzepatide has been fantastic! Dropping 40 lbs over 4 months is way beyond anything I imagined. What's making you consider Reta over Tirz or even Sema?

That’s great to hear! A good friend of mine got amazing results from Tirz and spent last year telling me I should try it. Back then I dug in my heels and wanted nothing to do with GLP1. Since that conversation, though, my weight has climbed further, and my stance on GLP1 has shifted.

For me, holding onto muscle is probably the biggest factor. During my 20s and early 30s I lived in the gym. When I reach the end of this process, I want to still be strong and have muscle. Based on what people who’ve used Tirz have told me, appetite suppression with Reta comes across as more natural. Reaching calorie and protein targets is simpler for them, compared with Tirz and especially Sema, where nausea often stopped them from eating. Reta’s glucagon activity also plays a part in preserving muscle. That’s really why I’ve been drawn in that direction. Beyond that, it’s a bit of a feeling that since I’m going to be in the grey market regardless, I might as well go with the newest and best option available.

That's reasonable! I'll dig deeper into keeping muscle, and so on. Appreciate it!
