Hey all! After going through a medspa, I realized I was paying way too much. A friend pointed me toward this site, and I've been soaking up a ton of info.

Staying active matters to me — snowboarding, fishing, shooting, off roading — and I know getting healthier will let me get more out of all of it. Following my father's passing, I gained roughly 70lbs, and now I'm ready to reclaim my health.

My plan is to keep learning and make my first purchase before long. Wishing everyone here good health, smart buys, and safety.

Losing a parent really wears on your stress and overall wellbeing. Within just a couple years I lost both of mine, and I just can't find the drive to get back into trying. I want to do the same thing, but my trust issues are severe.

Mind if I ask what you're taking?

Roy, I'm truly sorry about the losses you've endured. You're not alone in this.

TRT is part of my routine right now — 100mgs, taken twice weekly — and my Reta journey began on 2/10. My 2nd pin came yesterday. On 2/10 I used 1mg; nothing negative happened, and my appetite hadn't changed either. Then yesterday, 2/17, marked my 2nd. This time I moved the dose up to 1.2mg's. As of today, still zero side effects and no real hunger reduction.

5 days each week I'm in the gym, and my meals are clean Monday through Friday. Late nights are a habit for me, and with them come cravings — my hope is that this gradually quiets them. I remind myself that the weight didn't appear in a single night, so I'm staying patient and letting the process work.

Stats: 6'4, 249lbs. Getting back down into the low 200's is the goal. And I'm in my late 30's, if that matters.

Hey RMT,

Appreciate you posting this. How's it going after 2 weeks?

I'd give anything to be in that position — if only there were a source I could actually rely on.

The deeper I dig and dig and dig, the less confident I feel about going out and picking up the stuff. I had only been on TRT, yet my hair started falling out nearly right away, and it really got into my head. Figure I ought to drop some weight first. I'd love to see my 200's again too. Right now it just feels out of reach.

I'm 6' 375 lbs. Haven't stepped on a scale in a while, since it only brings me down. There was a time I wore it well, but that's over. Things have really slid since my mom passed.

Anyway, that's enough of a sob story — thanks for the positivity. I've been eating cleaner and trying to get a walk in each day.

not much time for gym life.

Mind if I ask what pushed you to go out and track down where to get Reta. Was there any way you felt you could trust it? I'm not after a location or anything, I'm just wondering whether one particular thing tipped you toward making that call for good?

Greetings from Los Angeles, California — the state right next door to you. There was a time when I'd make the trip to Vegas either by car or plane no fewer than 4X annually, but over the last 2 years or so, the expense has simply become too prohibitive! I'm reallllly keeping my fingers crossed that the strip owners who have monopolized everything go back to the 1980's/1990s approach of "If you are NOT rich, come to Vegas and live like a RICH PERSON". That high speed train connecting Los Angeles to Las Vegas is something else we could use, but.....I'm not going to hold my breath; I'm in my mid 40's and "high speed train to Vegas" has been talked about my whole life ;-)

My condolences to both of you, @RetaMeThis23 and @RoyGBiv

Losing my dad hit me hard as well, and it changed who I am entirely. Still, I'm thankful we've stuck around and kept pushing forward. Stay strong, and I hope you both have a wonderful sail!
