Hello everyone — I figured it was time to say hi and tell you a bit about myself. My reason for signing up is that I'm working through my own health and weight situation, and I want support, genuine stories, and straightforward facts about GLP-1 medications.

Bariatric surgery is part of my history. Since then, food intolerance and nausea have been ongoing issues for me, and because of that, staying on top of nutrition and weight has sometimes been really hard. Tirzepatide is something I've just begun (or am getting ready to begin), and I'm eager to hear from people who have already walked this road.

Over the years I've given plenty of different methods a try. Some of them worked to a degree, but the two things that consistently trip me up are staying consistent and actually feeling good in my body. What I want at this point is to get healthier in a way I can maintain, and to figure out approaches that cooperate with my body instead of fighting it.

Learning from all of you is something I'm genuinely excited about, and I hope to swap stories and give back support too. Any tips, perspective, or kind words are welcome.

Thanks for the welcome — happy to be part of this! 💙

Hey!

I'm located in Northeast Ohio — specifically, a Cleveland suburb!

What's your experience level with GLPs? I'd be glad to assist however possible! Just tell me!

Hi! I'm in a Cleveland suburb too, roughly 30 minutes to the south. Around 2 years back I used glps — that was roughly 3 years following my bariatric surgery. My time on them lasted about 3 or 4 months, though the side effects made it rough. Last night I took my latest dose again, and I'm going to attempt low and slow once more to see whether that changes anything. From my lowest weight I'd gained about 50 lb, so it was pretty depressing. Thanks for the offer! From my lowest weight I'd gained about 50 lb, so it was pretty depressing.
