Hey everyone. After spending quite a while reading along and picking things up, I figured it was time to stop lurking and get an account set up.

For a few years now I've been serious about fitness, and it's had its share of highs and lows. Even so, since 2018 I've dropped more than 100 lbs and managed to put on a little muscle along the way. Since 2024 I've been using Rx Tirz, and I'm curious about adding Reta to the mix. At 7.5mg I've hit something of a plateau, so before I simply raise the dose again, I'd like to look into Reta. The 7.5 has me feeling good, but there's still fat I'd like to shed.

I've also given the Wolverine blend a try for a knee problem, although I can't say it produced any miraculous outcome.

In any case, I'm excited to take part in this community.

Hey, welcome aboard.

Dropping 100+ lbs while adding muscle is impressive — that takes real work.

I get the hesitation about increasing doses. Reta is what I use too, and I'm keeping it low. From what I've noticed, stalling out around that point is fairly typical.

With Reta, I've watched folks take it in different directions — a few claim it got them that final bit of leanness, while others noticed barely any change. Everyone's different, I guess.

The Wolverine blend really helped me out with a rotator issue I've had for years.

Seems like your routine is already working well. At this point, it's likely just minor adjustments.

Happy you decided to post.

What stands out to me most about GLP medications is how they stop all that effort so many of us poured into dieting and fitness from going to waste. In the end, hunger almost always takes over, dragging us back to where we started or even lower. With these meds, it's a bit like protecting that effort - the work is still ours to do, but our bodies won't turn on us and undo it in the end. Knowing that pushes me to put even more into my physical health and fitness.

Mind if I ask what the timeline on that knee problem looks like? Once you're past the 6-month mark, the way to go is starting with TB-500, since it handles cell migration and angiogenesis. That means better circulation and less inflammation, which then lets your body actually make use of BPC when you introduce it.

For anything beyond 6 months, my suggestion is 2mg of TB-500 daily across 2 weeks, followed by 500mcg of BPC over the next 2 weeks. A clear difference should show up by then, and you may already be sitting at 80% healed.

A lot of folks report it never reaches a full 100%, but the reason is that PT has to happen alongside it. You can't expect peptides to carry the entire load. Your own effort is part of the equation.

There are those who claim full healing with no PT at all, though that comes down to the individual.

My recommendation is Tirz at 7.5, then bringing in reta at 2mg as support. If nothing shifts or changes, titrate upward by 1mg.

From what I've heard, body weight and height factor in too, but err on the side of caution. Looking after your health beats gambling on a wrong or incorrect dose and then having to handle whatever side effects follow.

Don't just swallow my advice as-is. Look into it yourself, but this is the sum of what I've picked up through experience and from reading plenty of other people's accounts about healing injuries!

Best of luck to you, my friend. 🙂

The knee problem hasn't been around long. It appears to match runner's knee symptoms, but it showed up only after I went deeper in my squats — not during runs. At first I thought it was patellar tendinopathy, so my PT was aimed at the wrong thing. The PT approach for runner's knee is quite different, and since it's tied less to soft tissue damage and more to how the patella tracks within the femoral groove, wolverine isn't as helpful.

I appreciate the suggestion to add Reta. I might be even more cautious and begin at 1mg, just to confirm everything goes smoothly.
