Hey everyone, I'm new here. I really regret not finding and signing up sooner.

My journey with peptides began roughly a month back. I'm 54 years old, quite active, and have had a hard time getting my weight under control ever since I began TRT at a low dose.

The vendor area stands out as especially useful—this space is full of scammers. Once I'm permitted, I'll post about my run-in with a scammer so that others can steer clear of making the same error.

A little more background on me.

Tesa and Reta are what I'm using.

For roughly 2 weeks I began at a very low dose of each.

Reta - .2mg 2x per week. Tesa .5mg Sunday- Thursday. At this point I'm at 1mg 2x weekly for the Reta, and 1mg/daily 5days/week.

With the Reta, low dose gave me a noticeable effect, yet the scale wouldn't budge, despite tracking in a diary and consuming less. At the current dosage, progress has improved and appetite is down significantly. My plan is to titrate up to 2mg 2x a week and see where that goes.

I don't anticipate much from the Tesa for around 4-6 weeks, though REM sleep and consistency have both gone up considerably.

I'm in the same boat, 53 and barely moving, though honestly my work as a general contractor keeps me going. I've been watching and jotting things down, and a handful of vendors seem reliable.

I picked up peptides from a site online, and wow, the prices are steep.

Being scammed is something I'm not proud to say happened to me. If there's any way I can help others avoid the same thing, I'll do it. Once I'm permitted, I'll lay out everything. The level of sophistication behind this scam was remarkable.

That said, I've also come across trustworthy vendors, and like you mentioned, the cost difference compared to US clinics or even prescriptions is staggering.

I'm excited to be part of this journey. The results speak for themselves.

Absolutely true — I'm going to keep an eye on this, so share which vendors have treated you well, and I'll return the favor as soon as I'm permitted to post in threads other than this one. I only registered under a week ago, and I don't yet have the seniority needed to contribute elsewhere, but regardless, I'm vetting every vendor I talk to very carefully. Best of luck to all of us

Not yet.

This scam isn't promoted on this site and doesn't exist in the vendor area.

Instagram was where they were, along with a telegram and a website; I contacted their WhatsApp number.

Everything appeared fine until a message arrived stating I required special cold chain transport, at an additional cost of $180. I turned down the special handling, and they stopped responding. When I tried again via WhatsApp, I just got excuses,

The telegram looked like it had a real active community. I messaged someone who was posting about getting a package, asking how it went, and they had nothing but praise for the vendor.

Then I went through the messages, and it was essentially 5 people/avatars doing the posting. A lot.

I requested a refund, and they replied “sure , here’s our process”. They directed me to a fake bank, where I was supposed to open a bank account in order to get the refund.

By that point I knew it was a scam, but I was stunned by how deeply plumbed it was .

The fake bank had a website and etc, but the address was phony.

Amazed. Instagram, website to a lab. Test results, fake shipping company, fake shipping manifest, fake bank. Amazing
