Hi Folks, Southern NH here, right near the MA NH border, roughly an hour from Boston.
T2D for 4 years now, and Hypertension came along for the ride.
Went from overweight to Obese recently, and my doctor switched me off the regular diabetes meds onto Mounjaro. Getting the PA from insurance for an initial 6 months took some effort. (I had to send a pile of documentation explaining why every other first in line medication failed for my diabetes - the back and forth ran 2 weeks).
Mounjaro was a game changer.. my t2d came under proper control on it. Hardly any big side effects, apart from Mild constipation, and the glycemic control has been excellent. Been on the 5 mg dose for 2 months now. The weigh loss ( 8 pounds on 3 months) was an added benefit.
With insurance possibly cutting me off, I began looking into alternatives. Compounded tirz came first, and working out the Grey market is where I am at now, slowly but steadily. Planning to grab 2 kits of Tirz as a back up soon, in case insurance pulls the plug. Thanks for all the insights. Reading the forum has been a real pleasure these last 2 weeks.
