LP1 fan based in Missouri. I've just hit 1 year of taking Tirz at a very low dose. I belong to a few other bio hacking communities and watch a number of YouTube channels. That's what sparked my interest in both Reta and this forum. With that third component that the others lack, Reta looks like the next step up.

My purpose here is to research and find out how to better my health and wellness. My weight is at a good point right now and I want to drop more. But there was a downside to the weight loss: muscle went away together with fat. My hope is to build muscle back. The best part of this whole experience so far has been getting rid of the food noise, which used to be nonstop! I never want that to return. So my first goal is keeping the food noise quiet, and my second goal is regaining some muscle.

Since I'm in my 50s, anti-aging is something I care about. I take hormones, NMN, NAC and a few other supps. Better sleep is a goal. I can fall asleep at any hour, day or night, but I wake up after a few hours. As a runner, I want to improve stamina and maybe even speed. Last of all, mood improvements would be wonderful if they happen. I'm not on anything for that and have no mental diagnoses.

I hope to link up with others, learn and grow together, and maybe even make friends. Thanks!

You brought up food noise as your favorite, and you're saying you'd like to switch to Reta now. From what I understand, when it comes to suppressing food noise specifically, Reta hasn't worked as well as tirz or sema for certain people. I'm not questioning the clinical trials, but to me Reta comes across as the latest flashy option that gets more hype than it deserves.

As I see it, once Lilly's higher dose tirz trials come out, the weight loss numbers will probably land close to what Reta produces.

Wow, that's news to me. Thanks — I'll check into it! My biggest foe is food noise. Tirz handles it well, but I'm after a stronger method to obtain it.
