Hey everyone! I'm closing in on 40, and my weight has been up and down for as long as I can remember. There was even a single year — while I was going through a separation and divorce — when I put on close to 90lbs. That clearly took a toll on my health, mentally and physically, so getting started on GLP medication has me genuinely thrilled. Today marks 3 weeks on tirzepatide for me.
Being here on this forum is something I'm really happy about — I want to pick up knowledge from those who've been at it longer, and also talk through the entire journey with folks at a similar stage.
In my line of work I help people move better, feel better, and take better care of their bodies, so my aim is to keep my focus tight: drop fat while holding onto muscle, and improve how I eat as well.
Can't wait to get to know all of you!
