Hey all! I’m brand new to this whole thing and mainly here to pick up information. Today marked my 2nd Reta injection, and things have gone well so far. My appetite has clearly been curbed by it. My starting amount was 1mg. No adverse reactions have shown up yet — hopefully it stays that way. What I’m after is learning more from everyone in this community. The vial I have came from a person my MIL knows, but eventually I’d like to get it myself so the exact mg and the amount of bac water used are known to me, etc. Honestly, it can feel like a lot and get confusing, so I’m hoping this place brings some clarity and support. Right now the biggest question I can’t figure out is whether a vial has to be sent for testing no matter where it was bought from.

Hi neighbor! My husband's job is in Louisville, so we might not be far apart.

If you purchase from the bigger vendors—ones with lots of customers who want testing—you can band together, which makes testing less of a hassle. From what I've seen, the simplest route to locating testing groups is through a vendor's discord or telegram. If you went it alone, paying for your own testing would be enormously costly.

For me, when I have the matching product, I'm fine relying on other people's 3rd party test results. What I don't trust are the results a vendor supplies, particularly when they pass out COAs that are 6 months old as though those could be the same batch they're currently selling.

Louisville is roughly a 2-hour drive from where I am! I appreciate the advice. What’s the way to confirm the product matches? When you buy, do you need to ask for the 3rd party test results?
