Hey all! I'm hoping to kick off my peptide journey. I'm a guy in my late 20s, and for the past 3 years I've been dealing with IBS symptoms.

Every day I take 12mg of loperamide. It's given me maybe 70% relief and made a huge difference in my quality of life, but that last 20-30% is still missing before I'd say I'm fully healthy.

After reading up on BPC-157, I'm ready to give it a try, and I understand it's unregulated and that there are risks. I'd like to share updates on my journey here, and I'm keen to connect with others who might be in a similar boat.

Thanks, glad to be part of this place! Excited to begin.

You may want to check out KPV for gut issues too. During my research I came across at least 1 study that examined KPV specifically in relation to IBS, though the subjects were mice.

The Pubmed ID for that study abstract is 18061177

Oral KPV capsules were one piece of my gut repair protocol, and that protocol produced excellent outcomes. Whether the KPV was responsible for all of it, or any of it, I can't say with certainty, but the data appears to offer some support.

Best of luck with BPC. For IBS, KPV gets used too.

My IBS-D symptoms appeared to be fully resolved by the GLPs. Still, at the start it's tough to picture, given the GI issues such as diarrhea, particularly before I was eating low-fat.

That's wild. Thanks for sharing, KPV is new to me. For IBS, is KPV the go-to option? Are you still on it, or did you come off it once things improved? Great to hear you're fully cured, that's fantastic news

Hey Bubba, appreciate the details — KPV was new to me. Was it a total fix for you, and are you still on it these days, or did you come off it after you started feeling better? I'm leaning toward going with KPV instead of BPC157 entirely, since it seems like the go-to option. I haven't begun any peptides so far.

Hi there, it's great to see more Irish members joining. The information available on this forum is amazing, and I've picked up a huge amount from it. Since much of the content is about products available in the US, building an Irish community where we can swap our own experiences would be really valuable. Have a look at the Irish thread over in General Discussion > Continental Café

Peptides made a huge difference to my IBS. The first stack I ran was GLOW together with IPA/CJC, and since Glow contains BPC157, I believe that played a big part. After I started Reta, my IBS disappeared completely — although my guess is that comes down to the bowel slowing digestion plus making better food choices! Best of luck.

That's fantastic to hear! Really glad things are back to normal for you. I'm with you on that — peptides can help push you the right way, but diet and exercise remain essential too. I was hoping to send you a private message to chat more about it, but I can't figure out how 🥲🤣

Hi everyone! Hope to start my peptide journey. I am male in late 20s who has been experiencing IBS symptoms the past 3 years.

I’m taking 12mg of loperamide daily, which has helped maybe 70% and has improved quality of life immensely, but I am still missing that final 20-30% to get me back to full health.

Having read about BPC-157 I am willing to give it a shot knowing this is unregulated and there are risks involved. Hope to keep the forum updated with my journey and interested in connecting with people who may be in similar situations.

Thanks and happy to be here! Looking forward to getting started.

Like the others have mentioned, looking into oral BPC-157 and possibly KPV could be worthwhile. I've seen oral blends that combine those 2 compounds, which is logical since both appear to offer gut healing benefits, particularly when taken orally. Wishing you the best of luck. I dealt with IBS frequently in my younger years, so I really feel for you.

As far as I can tell, private messaging isn't available until you hit a certain level, and that threshold seems to be kept under wraps.

That said, I'm quite open about what I've used and so on, so go ahead and ask anything here.
