Greetings from IL. For roughly 8 years I've been hitting the weights consistently, and sadly my physique no longer responds the way it did back in my 20s — every year I add a bit more weight. Peptides are completely new to me, but a buddy told me to check out reta, and now I'm quite curious.

Glad you joined us here! There's a ton of useful material on this site to support your research. Retatrutide is definately the newest and best option folks are turning to. As for me, I'm still going through a year and a half of compounded Tirzepatide before I start purchasing additional GLP's!

Thanks! What's the total amount of weight you've dropped?

So far, over the course of 4 months, I've dropped roughly 35 pounds. Currently I'm taking 7.5mg, and it seems like this is the right dose for me. The constant thoughts about food, the desire to snack, and similar impulses have all been silenced entirely.

That really hits home. Back in my 20s, I'd lift with sloppy technique and still pack on muscle. Now, roughly 15 years down the line, even after plenty of time away from the gym, it's a different story.

I’ve never gone longer than 3 weeks without training, yet my strength keeps climbing while body fat still accumulates—despite doing cardio no fewer than 4 times weekly and watching my food intake. That said, the joints are aching these days 🤣

When it comes to cardio, I've stuck with taking my dog out for walks or going on bike rides. Since I've been carrying extra weight, running never struck me as something wise to do.

Injuries forced me to stop for years, and I also brushed off those injuries instead of dealing with them.

Running isn't something I do either. The brief period I gave it a try, my shins hurt terribly, and switching among several pairs of shoes didn't help. The key thing, above all, is to keep moving each day!

My routine is simple: incline walking for 30 minutes. By the time I finish, I'm soaked with sweat.
