I’ve never tried GLP-1s before — my curiosity started once I noticed how far my brother had come with them. Weight has never been a big battle for me; I’ve stayed fairly lean and kept a reasonable amount of muscle. Still, I’ve gained a bit lately, and since I’m on the shorter side, putting weight on happens quickly while taking it off is a struggle, given how low my maintenance calories are. Even though I work out consistently, sticking to a maintenance that low is where I could use a hand.

Have you had any blood work done to rule out a dietary or training cause? Since I come from a medical background, that’s what this looks like to me…

That's a solid suggestion — for anyone past 40, low testosterone could be a factor, for instance. Given how active you seem to be, your difficulty might stem from something else entirely.

I get the whole low maintenance calorie thing. For me it lands around 1500, and I'm not petite (though I am in my 50s). Did you work yours out, or just go with what seems to work? I did the math on mine, but what actually happens is lower.
