Hi everyone! I live in California and KLOW is something I've recently begun using. Staying fit and working out regularly is something I enjoy, but a shoulder injury from a while back forced me to take a break. My hope is to figure out which peptides suit me best, so I can keep making progress on that injury and also get some help with tendinitis in my knee.

To those with expertise: has anyone come across peptides that are genuinely useful for avoiding injuries? Being injury prone is something I deal with, especially when it comes to soft tissue and ligaments.

ADHD is another thing I have. Prescribed medication is available to me, but I'd rather not use it because certain side effects don't sit well with me. Are there any experts who could share which peptides might be helpful for that?

Thanks so much, and I'm looking forward to learning a great deal more!

Welcome!

Dealing with injuries while also wanting to remain active is a rough mix, so I understand your situation. The positive side is that plenty of folks on here are dealing with the same kinds of shoulder and knee problems.

When it comes to getting ahead of injuries, the common view is that no single “magic” peptide matters as much as:

  • keeping inflammation under control
  • avoiding too rapid an increase in volume
  • and being steady with recovery
Peptides may be useful, but usually as a form of support rather than protection.

As for ADHD — there’s some talk about options such as Semax, though results vary a lot. For most people it isn’t a straight swap for medication, more like mild help for some.

Still, you’re asking the right questions. Go slowly, pay attention to how you react to what you’re already taking, and proceed from there.

Glad you’re here 👍

DaOnePiece, welcome aboard.

When it comes to research chemicals or anything else carrying risk, side effects, or limited study, the guiding principle is the smallest dose that still works.

Beyond keeping up with stretching, DIET, hydration, and similar basics, here’s what I’d suggest adding:

D3+K2, collagen, creatine, multivitamin, calcium, fish oil, vitamin c

On the ADHD front, that’s a conversation for your medical professional — there are ‘cleaner’ choices out there. From what I hear, vyvanse is cleaner, though focalin & dexedrine also come up. There are also non-stimulant prescriptions such as Straterra, Qelbree, and others.

Has any research on peptides or supplements come up regarding ADHD and lowering the biological stress that comes with amphetamine stimulants?
