Hi,

Greetings from Belgium!

I'm a man of 40 years and my weight loss journey began 5 month ago.

By now the scale shows 17 kg less, and I also keep an eye on my protein intake.

For the last 2 months I've been tracking my weight with a full body scan scale, and during the last month I dropped 1,9kg fat while putting on 0,9kg muscle.

So I think that's not bad 😁

To build muscle and only lose fat during my weight loss journey, I try to lift weights 3 a 4 times a week.

I started my journey with only reta, but after looking into all the other stuff I am also taking klow, tesa/ipa and mots-c.

Hope to learn more on this very informative forum!

Glad to have you here. Your progress looks good. Still, wouldn't a Dexa scan give you far better accuracy compared to a full body scan scale? As far as I remember, it costs about € 40 at Runners' Lab? They operate in several areas. Wishing you continued success.

Glad you joined us here.

It's great that your journey is already underway.

Any side effects you're having to cope with? Assuming there are any, of course.

On the scale front, mine is a withings. For how much I use it, the money was well spent. It's paired with (coming soon) Google Fitbit air.

As skaylife pointed out, deca scan is superior. but.

When the same tools are used consistently, even if the measurement is "stable" but off, it remains helpful. Progress still becomes visible. (See, I said "Stable")

(Withing body scan scale is 129 euro)

If the scale can be a motivater. It is alot more payable then getting a weekly dexa scan.

A weekly Dexa scan wasn't what I was suggesting. What you can do is take the numbers from your dexa scan, set them against what your scale shows, and that way figure out the error margin. Alternatively, enter your actual values into the scale and keep going from there. Then, after a while, do another comparison, and you'll see whether your scale is assessing your values accurately or not?

Hi,

Up to this point, nothing negative has come up.

When beginning every peptide, my approach was to begin at a low amount and gradually increase until reaching the target dose.

A Dexa scan sounds quite appealing, I will check into that. There happens to be a runner's lab at a short distance from my home.

The scale I use is a robi S15, extremely user-friendly with a highly comprehensive report and timeline. It has been in use for 2 months now, prior to that I only had a standard scale.

In the meantime, I looked into Runners Lab as well for booking a Dexa scan, since the location I've been to twice is a private beauty clinic that charges more. One Runners Lab sits 5 km away from where I live. Booking online turned out not to be an option. So I reached out to them by e-mail. Sadly, though, it's offered only in Zwijndrecht.

That's something I'd like to do as well. The prices vary a bit, and while Runners Lab comes out lowest, spending a few more hours driving just to keep €20 in my pocket doesn't appeal to me.

At the moment, Golazo Energy (€60) is the one I'm considering — they have locations in Leuven and Zolder.

Laat me alsjeblieft weten hoe het gegaan is! Ik moet nog even een drempel overwinnen. Niet zozeer om te gaan maar eerder voor de resultaten die er gaan uitkomen 😥

Dat zal ik doen! 😉

Hey

Good to know there are still people from Belgium hanging around here.

I'd like to send you a question, but I don't know how or where I can do that? 🙂
