Located in WA. A few months back, before their site was taken down, I picked up 2mg of Reta from an Australian company, and that's what I'm running now.

Things are going well — the appetite suppression is no joke. The weight has come off slowly; I've dropped roughly 1.5kg so far. I'd really appreciate any advice on how to get protein in, because I reckon my main obstacle right now is reaching that 120g+ each day when I simply can't face 4 chicken breasts or eggs in the morning..

My starting point was 148kg and I was a binge-drinking alcoholic. These days I'm 12 months sober, down to 111kg, and in week 3 of Reta 🫡

Nice work on 12 months sober and the weight you've lost up to now. That's a massive achievement! As for protein, when your appetite isn't great, options like shakes, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and tuna tend to go down a lot more easily.

Nice work on the progress you've made with your weight! Protein is something I find hard to reach as well, so I'd be glad to hear any shortcuts too.

Great work on what you've achieved so far. When I first began, I ran into the same kind of problems. These days I'm using Reta and pacing myself. I've made peace with the fact that during days 1-3 on reta, my protein targets aren't going to be met, so instead I just aim to eat quality food that gives my body enough fuel to train with weights. Carbs are part of that. Once the Reta effect eases off around days 3-6, I go hard on protein. Tricks that work for me: creatine every day, 5g mixed into my morning hydration drink. Each morning my iced coffee gets a scoop of unflavoured protein, and I add protein powder to as many things as I can. A protein bar handles the sweet craving. I make sauces from Greek yoghurt (green yogurt, garlic, lemon juice and so on) to spoon over my plain chicken and veg. Over 4 months on reta I've dropped 9kg while adding 0.5kg of muscle, with the remainder coming from fat loss (and fluid). Building muscle isn't my aim, I just want to avoid losing what I have, so the outcome makes me really pleased. For context, back in 2023 I used ozempic and shed 15kg, of which 8kg was muscle. It all came back once I stopped. So this approach suits me. I hope some of it can be useful for you too. Stick with it!
