Hi everyone, I’m a longtime lurker posting from the US. If anyone’s curious about a somewhat off-the-beaten-path route into this area, here’s my story:
Several years back, I received a diagnosis of late-stage chronic Lyme disease. For the decades before that diagnosis, I dealt with a range of health issues that, looking back, were likely connected. To make a long story short, I sacrificed a big portion of my life — hobbies, friends, family, social activities — so I could channel what little energy I had into my job, just to make a living and cover my medical expenses.
After years of treatments that didn’t work, thousands of $$ gone, and symptoms that kept getting worse, my condition had become quite serious, to say the least.
Last year, I came across Dr. Kent Holtorf’s work, which suggested using different peptides and Bioregulators for chronic illnesses that compromise the immune system, like Lyme and CFS (a 2017 conference, IIRC).
That discovery opened the door for me into bio-hacking. Since then, I’ve been running my own experiments and research, and the results have been surprisingly better than everything from the previous 15+ years of drugs and treatments put together.
To be clear, I’m not yet fully symptom-free or in any kind of “remission,” but for the first time, I can see and feel progress. It’s not a slow monthly decline or a flat plateau — it’s real improvement in how I live day to day.
That’s more than I ever expected, given where I was.
So that’s me in a nutshell — I’m looking forward to what comes next and glad to finally be an official part of this community!
