This is my introduction post, since I just joined. I'm from Germany and I'm 28 years old. My reason for being here: I want to shed fat and learn more about GLP-1 medications, particularly tirzepatide, semaglutide and comparable options.
In the past I've gone through the usual approaches to weight loss: tracking calories, walking more, resistance training, and attempts at cleaner eating. Those methods do produce results, but for me the biggest obstacles are hunger and staying consistent. So I began digging deeper into GLP-1s, looking at how they're actually used in practice, which side effects show up, what helps, what fails, and which errors to steer clear of.
What I'm after is losing fat while holding onto muscle, and avoiding doing dumb things without knowing what I'm doing. Mostly I'll be reading, picking things up, and posting questions whenever something isn't clear.
That's pretty much all. Happy to be part of this.
