Health issues forced me to stop working 6 years back, and since then I've bounced in and out of hospitals for most of that time. Traditional medicine has worn me out, so I'm taking control myself. Really, what I want is the "Holy Grail" that brings back the version of me from 6 years ago. I've got 13 grandchildren — only 1 is a boy, the rest are girls. 2 of the youngest are homeschooled by me, and keeping up with them takes a ton of energy. At home I have 2 golden retrievers, 1 dachshund and 1 Chihuahua. Who runs the place? You can figure that out yourself. PTSD came out of all those hospital visits and procedures, so I picked up something new: gardening. Digging, pulling weeds and planting take up much of my time outdoors. My dogs stay right with me, and normally at least 2 or 3 grandkids come along too. Being here has me excited, and I've already started reading through posts to kick off this new path. One more thing — my brain no longer works at 100%, so please be gentle.

Hey 👋

Glad you made it to the forum. There is plenty to absorb around here, and at first it may feel like a lot, but things start clicking the more you go through it.

Folks here tend to be friendly and generally really willing to lend a hand 😊

Hi everyone! I’ve been around for roughly 2 months now, and honestly I felt completely out of my depth when I started. I’ve spent a lot of time going through discussions on here, and I’ve picked up a ton already. Just go slowly, one step at a time. Really enjoy being part of this forum!

Hi there, a big friendly welcome! It's your body, so it's your call! With 13 grandchildren in your life, that has to be what keeps you pushing forward in this wonderful journey. Go slowly as you read and collect what you need, then jump back to the days when you were younger. Catch you later!

Welcome to the forum 🙂 I'm also new, even though I've been on GLP1s for about 18 months. During my time here I've picked up quite a bit; there's a huge amount to read. I hope you locate what you're after!

Hello 👋 I appreciate the warm welcome. Around 8 months have passed since I started Tize, and during that time I've dropped 65#. My Drs told me that losing weight would make me feel great. That didn't happen. After that, they told me my liver has significant non alcoholic stage 2 fibrosis, yet they can't determine the cause. It's some form of autoimmune disease. There are too many issues to even list.

I'm wishing you discover the perfect solution that gives you extra vitality for your loved ones and for yourself ❤️ you bring to mind my own grandma. We're both fans of gardening too! Dachshunds are simply the greatest !!
