Hi everybody. Trust all is going well for you!

I just joined this forum, and I can't wait to soak up every bit of wisdom from all of you that I possibly can!

A bit about me - 36 year old guy living in the Midwest USA. GLP1s aren't new to me; the most recent run had me dropping roughly 40lbs on Tirz. During the stretch where it worked, things were awesome. Around the tail end of my 6 months on tirz, though, some odd side effects appeared and I had to quit. That pushed me to look into other peptides, which is why I'm here - to dig in and find out more. Roughly 40lbs separate me from my goal weight.

My diet is strict, and I eat pretty much identical meals daily. It suits me well. Resistance training is heavy, 4x per week, plus 1hr cardio sessions 3x per week. I also take testosterone at therapeutic dosages.

I'm not sure how much info I should dump here, so I'll stop now and add more in comments if needed.

Thanks for welcoming! Looking forward to browsing.

Glad you made it! Which tirz side effects proved troublesome for you? Many folks push tirz as having supposedly milder side effects compared to reta. Personally, I've run reta for 6 weeks and haven't hit any side effects.

Dropping 40lbs is huge—nice work!

Sticking to one set of meals day in and day out requires serious willpower… prepping ahead, avoiding the grocery store on an empty stomach, keeping temptation out of the kitchen, and pushing through the monotony of the same dish again and again. In my experience, seasonings and sauces go a long way toward preventing meals from feeling too repetitive.

4X/wk of heavy resistance training plus 3hrs of cardio is impressive. You're obviously committed to a healthy way of living. Big respect.

Do you do any interval sessions, or is it all steady state? Each has its own benefits!

Glad you're part of this.

My case probably wasn't typical, and my own experience isn't a reason for anyone else to avoid tirz. It could simply have been a combination of factors colliding. I'm in a field that's tightly regulated with a lot of compliance demands, and alongside the tirz (at that point I believe I had been titrated up to roughly 12mg), plus a couple of especially stressful months on the job, I ended up with what I can only call acute anxiety attacks? That's very out of character for me, something I'd never gone through before. Sleeping was hard, my thoughts raced, and so on. It was terrible. Around the same period I tapered myself off the tirz and work eased up somewhat, so I do question which of the two was behind my problems.

Thanks! This has been a wonderful journey, and it's something I should have started ages ago.

Honestly, I've found that repeating the same meals every day makes things far simpler. I cook in bulk each Sunday, preparing 14 portions I can just grab, which removes any need to decide what to eat. I switch up the seasonings weekly and keep plenty of zero-calorie dipping sauces on hand. Right now I'm hooked on a 50/50 blend of Sriracha and Dijon Mustard. It isn't 0 cal, but the flavor is amazing.

Exercise used to feel like a chore, but now it's the part of my day I eagerly await. I've really come to enjoy it! Currently, my cardio is steady state, aiming to hold 125-135bpm for the full hour. I'll certainly explore adding some internal work soon! Appreciate the suggestion!

Dijon plus sriracha? I'll have to try that, appreciate the tip!

Appreciate you posting this!

Anxiety tied to work is something lots of people deal with, and when several things pile up at the same time, it's hard to tell which one is behind which. The week I began reta, I came down with a nasty cold, even though my family had caught that same cold the week before, so whether the first week of reta played any part isn't clear. On the whole, my health has improved a great deal, which means I've stopped wondering about that possible link.

Sure thing! Once more, tirz isn't something I view negatively, and I intend to go back to it down the road. That said, I'm now thinking about switching over to Reta, since I've come across some really impressive outcomes both on this platform and in other places online.

Hey there, I'm based in England. Same situation for me — my daily menu never changes, just 4 dishes on repeat.

Oats with blueberries and protein powder, left overnight

Bagels alongside eggs

Broccoli, rice and chicken

Plus something with mince (a burger I make myself) or chilli and such. That said, I've used Reta, ss31 mots c, and right now I'm giving tesamorline a go for a complete cycle.

Clinical trials turned up no reports of this... That isn't to say it's impossible, though the odds would be very low.

In large pivotal studies such as the SURMOUNT program, anxiety and depression came up rarely, generally in under 2% to 5% of participants—figures that tracked closely with, or only marginally surpassed, the placebo arms.

According to real-world observational evidence, tirzepatide and comparable drugs actually carry lower risks of documented new diagnoses for anxiety disorders, depression, and cognitive deficits when set against other weight management controls.

That way of doing things is so much simpler! My routine is also built around 5 meals that repeat daily, and just 1 meal each week is reserved for something off-plan as a treat. Even then, I try hard to keep within my calorie target.

That's really intriguing, thanks for posting about it. As I mentioned earlier, I can't say whether the tirz played a role, but I wound up tapering down and quitting right around when my mental state improved. Might just be timing. Regardless, it was terrible!
