Hey all!
California here, 26 years old, and I'm glad to have found this space and to start meeting people!
When I began this journey I was sitting at about 185 lbs, and bit by bit I've come down to somewhere around 155–160 lbs. Getting to 140 lbs is the end goal, though what matters more to me is feeling good about myself — confident, healthy, and at ease in my own skin.
GLP-1 medications have been part of how I've gotten here, and they've played a big role in keeping my appetite, food noise, and my whole relationship with eating in check. I've gone through stretches of progress, plateaus, and plenty of frustration, same as a lot of people, and I'm coming to understand that this process is anything but linear.
What brought me to this community is wanting to keep learning, swap stories, and link up with folks who get the journey because they're living it too. Long-term success and holding onto results are topics I'd really like to dig into, and I'm keen to hear how these medications have worked out for others.
It's exciting to be somewhere we can lift each other up, ask whatever we need to ask without being judged, and cheer for the small victories as they come. Can't wait to get acquainted with all of you!
