Hi everyone! The last forum I joined was back in the early 2000s. Social media pulled me away from them, and GLP1s remain taboo in my circle — but they're saving my life.
Lost and regained, the running total over the years must reach upwards to 1000 lbs.
ozempic was out of reach thanks to a pre authorization my doctor couldn't get passed. But once the scale sat just a few pounds short of 400, something desperate became necessary — a couple of compounding pharmacies in Jan, and now grey.
Since Jan the number is down to 355, with 2-3 lbs dropping weekly.
My thinking is that once the goal arrives, a small weekly dose will be enough to hold the weight off.
Everything that goes in my mouth gets tracked. There's room for 1 or 2, 4-5000 kcal days each week. Most days land at 2-2500 kcal. And some days a 28-3200 kcal stretch can happen.
Protein comes first, with a few bites of unhealthier food let in here and there.
Anyway — just happy to be here, reading everyone else's journeys. Let's keep pushing together!
