Hey all,

I'm considering giving peptides a shot for shedding weight.

Roughly 20 lbs is what I need to drop, mainly around my midsection from beer.

Still, I'm somewhat nervous about going the peptide route, though up to now I've come across hardly any negative reactions from people who've used them for 2+ years.

Looking forward to becoming part of the discussion forums.

Cheers!! 🙂

Greetings from Vancouver! Since your goal isn't huge, begin at a low dose and increase gradually—that ought to get you to where you want to be ahead of peak summer. I felt nervous before I began as well, and fortunately I've had very few side effects.

Hey from Minnesota (near enough to Canada that I figure it counts)!

My situation is pretty similar to yours — there are around 15 pounds I want gone before summer arrives. Since I'm on the shorter side, it always seems to drag along extra slowly for me.

I'm a newcomer to peptides too, though I've just wrapped up week 3 of tirz, and so far it's been going great! Do you already have certain peptides in mind that you want to test out, or are you mostly still looking into things at this point?

Hey Johnny, how's that ugly Toronto of yours 😉

Reta is what I started in January. The possible side effects I'd read about sounded brutal, serious nausea among them, so I bought ginger before my first pin and braced for the worst.

My starting dose was 0.5mg; these days it's 8mg. And nothing....not a hint of gastric discomfort, diarrhea or nausea.

The only thing I noticed 2 hours after my first pin was a dry mouth. Everybody is different. My food suppression is very mild as well, and plenty of others have said the same.

My advice would be to eat as clean as you can. Skip fast food. Go for good quality protein, no sauces, and grill it. Counting macros through the first month is worth it, just so you can see what you're eating.

In those first few days I realised I was only eating 900 calories a day. That got fixed pronto.

These days I take in 1700-1900 calories a day; roughly 140g protein and 25g fibre daily.

Fat intake stays limited; 1/4 avocado, or 25g of mixed nuts x2 / wk, nothing more.

Worth taking the plunge - it could change your life for good !!

Right now I'm gathering information.

Here's what I've jotted down in my wordpad file up to this point.

There's still plenty for me to pick up, which means my start date will likely be May or June

Retatrutide for weight-loss.

AOD-9604 is a modified 16-amino acid fragment of human growth hormone designed to stimulate fat metabolism (lipolysis) without affecting blood sugar or promoting tissue growth. It is widely studied for fat loss, targeting stubborn adipose tissue, and potential cartilage repair, while showing a high safety profile in trials.

BPC-157 healing of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and the gut.

CJC- anti-aging, improved sleep, fat loss, muscle growth, and enhanced recovery, often stacked with Ipamorelin for synergistic effects.

GHK-Cu - a powerful regenerative, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory agent, widely used in skincare for collagen synthesis and hair loss prevention.

Tesamorelin - used to reduce excess abdominal visceral fat. It works by stimulating the pituitary gland to produce more growth hormone, which helps reduce abdominal fat, increase muscle mass, and improve metabolic markers.

NAD+ - fuels cellular energy and repairs DNA, but it is often paired with peptides in anti-aging treatments to boost mitochondrial function, reduce fatigue, and improve cognitive clarity.

KPV is a naturally occurring, anti-inflammatory tripeptide (Lysine-Proline-Valine) derived from

-melanocyte-stimulating hormone -MSH) that calms the immune system, reduces inflammation, and aids in tissue repair, particularly for gut health and skin issues.

I would love to be able to say, "ugh".

However, Vancouver holds the title of Canada's warmest city. That means every one of those kinds of people ends up here.

Our homeless population is the biggest, we're dealing with a severe O/D crisis, and plenty of those affected are blue & white collar workers.

I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the police or the paramedics. It's a shame, given how stunning this province is.

@CharlieBrown Could I send you a private message, or if that's okay with you, would you want to exchange email addresses??

There are a few things I'd like to ask you
