Hello all! I'm new around here, writing in from the Netherlands.

Today marked my 4th Reta injection, and I began GHK‑CU this same week. My weight is down roughly 1.5 kg (about 3.3 pounds) so far. I keep an eye on my calories, get enough protein, drink around 2.4 liters of water daily, remain active, and hit the gym for strength work 2 times per week.

Right now I'm at 103 kg (231 lbs at 5'5"), which means I need to shed about 40 kg (88 lbs) before my BMI lands in the healthy range. I've stayed at 1 mg and plan to move up to 1.5 mg next week.

I realize each person's path looks different, but watching others drop weight so fast can still get me down.

Excited to pick up more from everyone here on this forum!

In my case, the pounds came off dramatically starting in week 1. With some people, though, it only really kicks in once you reach 4mg.

Keep your chin up! Just be certain the product you're using is solid and comes with up-to-date COA's.

Hold yourself to a tight standard. Snap front and side photos each morning, every day. Log your weight in a spreadsheet on a daily basis. Do everything within reach to keep yourself accountable.

Wishing you the best!

With a deficit of roughly 600 calories, you're looking at around 0.5 kg lost per week — the exact amount depends on your daily energy expenditure. Fat contains about 9kcal per gram.

A lot of the folks shedding pounds much quicker are simultaneously shedding muscle too. Personally, 800g/week feels like a realistic pace for me without ending up sluggish or exhausted.

When people talk about rapid drops in week 1, it usually comes down to switching to low carb eating. Your body lets go of retained water, and that likely accounts for the quick loss of a kg or two.

Anyway: a hearty welcome from your neighbour in Belgium!
