Hey all. After deciding to seek a bit of help with losing weight, I checked out a few vids, began reading up on things, went down a rabbit hole, and landed here. Still reading, haha.

My target is to drop around 75 lbs. The more I go through what's posted here, the more eager I am to see where this path takes me. Much appreciation to all who arrived ahead of me — truly happy I came across this spot.

Welcome 👋

Seems like plenty of us arrived at this spot in the same manner — you begin looking into things, get pulled down the rabbit hole, and next thing you know you're in deep 😄

75 lbs is a substantial target, though very achievable if you go about it the right way and stay patient. There's loads of trustworthy material around here, and folks tend to be open about what genuinely helped them (and what turned out not to).

Go at your own pace with the reading, pose questions as they arise, and there's no need to hurry. Happy you located this place — best of luck along the way.

Isn't this rabbithole just the greatest? Ever since I tumbled in, my health and my hope have climbed a lot.

Stay with the reading - this place holds so much knowledge… what a post is titled about doesn't necessarily limit where the discussion goes. I've been attempting to work through the whole board in an orderly way lol.

The folks here carry plenty of wisdom as well.

And when a particular question comes up, google search works wonderfully, with site:GLP1Chat.com

Glad to have you!

I'm starting to piece together the way this all operates. Today I hit a wall of annoyance over the limits on posting... then it clicked: "why not just search for 'posting limitations?'"

Now it makes sense. I've got a mountain of questions...

What's the process for reconstituting SLU-PP-332? Which peps (if any) work better via IM vs subq? Hold on, nat+... ouch, but whoa!

I hope my streak of good fortune continues now that I've started reta.

Dose #1: 2mg. I hadn't looked into how quickly the digestive side effects show up, and around day 3/4 I began shedding pounds by camping out in the bathroom lol. Come day 5 I was thinking, "hmm, reta might not be right for me." Yet by day six I felt improved and was starting to grasp just how deeply this incredible peptide changes the people who use it.

I lowered my following dose to 1.2mg; the weight kept coming off, but hunger 'noise' crept in mid week, so I nudged it up a bit to 1.5mg. The weight loss hasn't stopped! So happily, I'm on the verge of starting week 4, holding steady at that 1.5mg dose! woot.

By the numbers, I'm down 21 pounds and it's only day 19 for me. Sure, the digestive-emptying lesson from week 1 accounted for roughly 9lbs of that drop, but the scale is still trending the right way, with fewer unwanted bathroom losses.

I've been bitten by the pin cushion bug, oof yeah I'm hooked.

Besides reta, what does your routine look like? I take 1mg and keep an eye on my intake - aiming to land at or below 2k.. target is 150+g protein, plus I'm making an effort to move more - walking and golfing

3 weeks in and I've dropped 7lbs.

When I get up, I have off-brand fruit and veggie capsules (the balance of nature type), beet root, calcium/magnesium/zinc, and l-Argentine, plus a Core Power protein shake. After that I don't consume anything until roughly 1 o'clock. At that point it's 1/4-1/2 cup full-fat unsweetened Greek yogurt with frozen berries, sometimes a small chicken salad, then a second protein shake and possibly a few ounces of dried fruit and nuts in the afternoon, followed by chicken skewers or a Lean Cuisine with cottage cheese and/or hummus.

Weight training with 20lb dumbbells happens nearly every day too.

You have to get it: eating beyond that amount is genuinely hard for me. Once my work dose stabilized, the largest meal I've managed was around a third of a ribeye plus 1/2 cup mashed potatoes. Just today, 3 fried eggs with bread left me physically uncomfortable for hours. My food-day ended with a protein shake and an apple, and even that was nearly too much. 🤷 I'm 53. Wish I could offer more.

Plenty of people would question me jumping into new peptides this fast, and honestly I'm not a great model of restraint. Second nad+ dose went in today, and I plan to keep that at 2x week. Ghrh courses are coming up soon, and before long I'll pair the morning nad+ (owww) with 1mg mots-c on a 5 on 2 off schedule.

So yeah, I'm probably at 1200 cal/day. Sweets are out, and super processed foods are kept to a minimum. The goal is resetting that insulin resistance. Water intake is high. The biggest sugar hit I get is the 3-5g in my coffee.

Four weeks in, and I'm sitting at 23lbs lost, give or take a bit. The reta dose stays at 1.5mg for now — though week five might see me "accidentally" bump it to 1.6-1.7mg 😅 Listing out my full stack? That's a hard pass, mostly because admitting how quickly I've plunged into the deep end would be more than a little embarrassing lol. As for the vendors I've gone through, zero complaints so far. That's thanks to this forum. Everything you need is already posted here, assuming you're up for digging through more than just a price list 😂

Almost overlooked the forum that first pointed me toward the gray market. From 02/02/26 onward, 51lbs have come off.

My stack has shifted up and down (mostly down) and at various points included tesa, cjcnd, ipa, aod, the mitochondrial peps (mots-c, 5am1mq, ss-31, nad+), trt got started, plus several others. Early on I locked in a few rules: 120g protein every day at minimum , lifting 4x/week at minimum , and klow every day to fight ozempic face and a handful of other issues. Peptides have my full faith. And how I look has brought in extra business. inb4 someone chimes in with "1-2lbs/wk average." Right- average. A few people drop slightly less, a few drop slightly more. Where I've gotten to so far makes me happy.

WOW! Congrats - out of all the peps, which one moved the weight most for you? (Or was there one) tirz is what I'm on, with ss-31 for Motsc about to begin - any side effects?

With mots or ss-31, I haven't seen any side effects at all. As far as peptides go, Retatrutide has had the strongest impact on me. For me to shed pounds, the only route is burning more calories than I consume. Reta is what lets me do that.

I couldn't agree more — big sigh

Haha "oww but wow" really hits home. I began at a low dose with the Nad so my body could adjust to the burn, and it's such a strange thing. Certain days there's no issue, while on others an ice pack is necessary. Keeping a journal of every little thing might reveal a pattern, and I probably should, but up to now it seems like it's simply becoming less bothersome as time goes on.

Something I've realized about myself: nursing or any job requiring steady hands would never work for me. My hands shake way too much. A tool I 3D printed does help me out, though!
