Hey everyone, I'm based in the greater Atlanta area. Throughout my life I've been an aspiring high-level athlete. Football, rugby and wrestling over 30 years are now taking a toll on my worn-out body. My goal is to hold onto my prime and stop the spare tire at my waist from growing to bicycle size. Plus, I want my kids to see that daddy still has "it" for a few more years.

Needles used to scare me, but failing scared me more.

Hello! I'm also just joining. Recently I came across something about a man in Austrailia who built a needless injector...it pushes the liquid into the arm quickly without using a needle. Personally, that idea scares me way more than a needle does, yet the individual who was afraid of needles kept praising it.

That's quite intriguing! For now, I'll stick with insulin needles rather than those liquid shotgun injections until I come across additional details..

Before I started semiglutide, needles terrified me. Even now, I avoid watching while I inject — so just before pushing it in, I fix my eyes on something else. It's over before you know it, and there's no sensation at all. Hopefully that makes things easier for you when you begin!

For the first few shots, my wife handled the needle for me, and she got a kick out of it. These days, though, the novelty has worn off for her, so I’m on my own and just have to tough it out. 🙁
