Hi, I'm 21y/o and I'm looking to improve the quality of my life and sports career by developing a healthy relationship with food and reducing impulsive urges to eat whatever I can stuff in my mouth.
I've always been obsessed with progressing in sports and over the last year I've develop a genuine passion for bodybuilding. I'm really religious when it comes to food choices and have studied dieting quite intesively, especially over the past few months. I do however struggle immensely with BED (binge eating dissorder) and my hunger hormones/signaling is quite out of sync. I have ADHD and I'm very impulsive, I especially like to chase very high dopamine activities and sadly one of them turns out to be food. I have been using a GLP-1 for the past ~3.5 months now, although a more dissapointing experience, it did give me a taste of freedom and I'm definitly not writing it off yet. I'm hoping to develop a better sense of the pharmacology and how I could potentially leverage these drugs with other lifestyle factors to improve my life and generally make my days more tolerable.
