Appreciate the welcome into this group.

I’m a 61 yr old woman living in Sydney 🇦🇺. I spent close to a year on Mounjaro, finishing at 15mg, and honestly the results weren’t anything to write home about, so I’ve moved over to the peptide route. My Reta schedule so far: 1mg for 3 weeks, then 2mg for 3 weeks, and tomorrow I take my first 4mg dose — fingers crossed this is where things start showing. Alongside that I take creatine every day, do resistance training 5x a week (home only) plus 40 mins on the bike 5x a week, and I keep an eye on what I eat. A big part of why I need this weight gone is that I’m due for a double knee replacement, which is why my weight training is limited right now unfortunately. Further down the line I’m thinking about adding Tesamorelin too. My biggest worry is sourcing peptides that aren’t fake — that stresses me out more than the actual weight loss, to be honest.

Thanks again, and I’m keen to get involved in the group discussions.

G'day mate,

You'll find quite a few of us from Australia around here, and the continental section has an Aussie thread as well!

Glad to have you here! I followed a comparable path — first sema, then tirz — and tirz gave me slightly better outcomes than sema did.

I've been easing into Reta, and although there's not much to report so far, I'm moving up to 5mg today while focusing hard on protein and staying consistent with workouts. My goal is to drop roughly 30kgs. What's your situation?

My goal is to shed 18kg, yet so far there’s been no progress at all. I’m concerned that the Reta I’ve got might not be genuine.

With any luck, it isn't counterfeit. This place has a solid vendor area you might want to check out. I haven't placed my first order yet either, and honestly the entire process gives me some anxiety as well.

It's curious that Mounjaro gave you no results, even when the dose went up. Did that one also come from the grey market?

Nope, I had a proper prescription for the mounjaro. The issue was the price—it got way too expensive, particularly since it wasn't doing anything for me. I've now increased my Reta dose to 4mg, so fingers crossed I'll start seeing a difference.
