Hello everyone. I'm a general practitioner who trained at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador, and these days I live and work in Aveiro, Portugal. Most of my practice involves patients on GLP-1 treatment. I've been working with GLP-1 medications for 4 months. The problem is that back home most people can't afford the expensive ones, so I'm trying to learn about all the peptide pharmacies and related things. I used Ozempic myself for some months, and I also have experience with more than 20+ users.

Welcome! The forum is packed with useful information, so dive in and start reading, my friend. If you need anything at all, just ask.

Hi everyone, I've been doing a great deal of reading, and it feels like I'm just at the start of the rabbit hole — there are many peptides I haven't even looked into yet. I'm curious whether a lot of scientific research exists to support them.

Certain ones are backed by studies; others have none, or only research involving lab cells or animals.

Data from animals and cells shouldn't carry much weight in our thinking, in my view. Medicine has cured cancer in countless mice and cell lines LOL, yet that still doesn't translate into human data. What's your take on this?

Yes, I completely agree — those two things are not the same.
