Hi all, I’m 31, male, and I’m about to start a peptide journey. After plenty of research, tesa and Reta have caught my attention as ways to reach the body goals I’ve set for this year.

Progress at the gym has stalled, and I reckon this could push me past that point.

Looking forward to picking up knowledge from those who’ve been at it longer, and I’d be grateful for any pointers or suggestions on UK-based suppliers. Thanks so much in advance!

Hi there! Wishing you success as you get going. There's a great deal of prep work involved, particularly if you stack it up against the simplicity of walking into a licensed UK pharmacy where they handle everything on your behalf - though that convenience comes with pharmacy-level pricing!

Since I'm in the UK and have already bought and received my reta as a first-timer, here are a few lessons I picked up that could be useful:

  1. Keep calm - navigating crypto, buying from overseas, international shipping, customs clearance, and so on, is simply par for the course in the grey market.
  2. Bacteriostatic Water - Briefly, the majority of folks here recommend avoiding BAC supplied by vendors, citing insufficient testing and some frightening accounts. The general agreement seems to favor Pfizer Hospira BAC water, yet nobody (at least on a regular basis) offers it within the UK. Furthermore, fake Hospira is apparently widespread, though guides exist for spotting counterfeits, such as this one - https://ausaminos.com/blog/fake-hospira-bac-guide/
  3. Take your time - Spending weeks, or even months, simply reading and absorbing as much as possible before buying anything is the wiser approach - at least that appears to be the standard way people proceed, although I've come across seasoned users who jumped in quickly.

Naturally, plenty of other factors come into play: lifestyle adjustments (like increasing protein intake, etc.), titration schedules, side effects, and more. That's exactly why pacing yourself matters.

Quite the ramble! Once more, wishing you the best of luck 🙂

Solid write-up — I’m also right in the middle of reading up and picking things up as I go. Day by day I feel a bit more sure of myself here thanks to what I’ve learned, and it was only through reading this that I realized how crucial it is to avoid supplier BAC water! That said, the uk really doesn’t appear to have the other waters (hospira) available like the US/Canada and elsewhere do.

I really appreciate the insight and all the advice you've shared. Starting this journey is something I'm genuinely excited about, and I want to be 100% ready before placing my first order.

All the bac water guidance has been on my radar, and I'm happy that it was!

Wishing you the best as your peptide journey continues 😁

There was a post about BACwater that I clearly didn't catch. Where did that conversation happen?

Search 'vendor bac' on here and you'll come across plenty of threads about it. Since I'm not the patient type, I've gone ahead and reconstituted my reta using vendor bac — I figured that after everything I've put my body through in the past, this couldn't possibly be any worse.

That being said, it's worth putting in the effort to track down real hospira. We're already saving a lot by going grey market. Through a UK pharmacy I was forking out £2,500 a year for semaglutide (I only stuck with it for 2 months before I found this world), whereas 16 months of reta runs about £400, so spending time and money hunting for clean, tested BAC is something I can justify.

Hey there — like @collioureviews mentioned, a quick search for Bac water will bring up several threads about it. One is specifically aimed at folks in the UK, though if you're in the US, getting proper BAC should be much simpler than it is for us
