2 years back I weighed 113kg with +45%bf, and that's when I kicked off my health-focused fitness path — I was prediabetic and felt like poopoo.

Right now I'm 98kg at 27%bf. Lifting and cycling have taken up at least 80% of that stretch, and 1 month ago I added a glp1 because otherwise I kept yoyoing — this year I rebounded from 92kg up to 103kg, and now I'm back down 5.5kg.

ADHD is also part of my picture, so I've been checking into elvanse and glp1 interactions.

So starting weight: 112.5kg

Current weight: 98kg

Hi there, and welcome aboard! You've done really well up to this point!

My partner is in the same boat—ADHD, and they're on Vyvanse, which as far as I understand is identical to Elvanse. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to share a link, but over on the ADHD subreddit there's a solid thread called "Vyvanse interaction with GLP1?". From what they say, absorption gets slowed down, so the comeup might be affected.

Hey, welcome! I've been off ADHD meds ever since I got sober in 2023. GLP1 did a lot for my food cravings, and since starting GLP1 I haven't had any drug cravings either 🙂

I'm looking forward to hearing what you've been through!
Bad habits of every kind are definitely less tempting these days. The 1st 4 weeks were at 1mg, then the last 2 at 2mg. In the beginning I'd sometimes get a racing heart when I was trying to fall asleep, but that was mostly only during the 1st month.

Do you keep an eye on your resting heart rate? I haven't seen mine go up. It's been 70-80 bpm rhr for as long as I can remember

adhd for me too, and I'm on concerta xl at 18mg, stepping up to 36mg next week. Slightly nervous about adding reta at the same time

My charts show a small bump right after I began, though it later returned to baseline. I switch around between roughly 60 and 70.

Should side effects appear, tirz remains an option — for me, it didn't hit the heart or sleep nearly as hard as reta did
