G'day to all,

While I was digging into the reason a particular Chinese website/telegram got taken down, I somehow stumbled onto this great community.

How is it that I only now discovered a group of people who share the same interests!

To keep it brief, my wife and I have spent roughly a year working on our health, sampling different vendors as we went and gradually working out which items we want to keep around. This all began after I ran a few ultra races of 50+km and came close to wrecking my Achilles during one of them (partial tear), so during rehab I chose to start TB/BCP, and from there everything just kept growing!

Glad to have come across a forum that is so full of information and support on all parts of the ecosystem, and that brings back memories of the old-school forum layouts I miss from the internet's early years.

For your achilles issue, I'm curious about how TB/BCP performed. Which protocol did you use? Both of my feet have achilles soreness that keeps coming back, usually triggered by jumping exercises like jump rope sessions.

For me, the results were excellent. In a fairly brief period, I progressed from being unable to cover even a few hundred mtrs to completing 10km pain-free. Since my wife works as a nurse, she simply identified a solid protocol along with the daily amounts, and I followed along. That said, I put in a huge amount of PT work on my ankle and calf strength throughout, and I continue doing so even now.

I've been off it for a while and unfortunately there's some inflammation creeping back, but I'm currently on a heavy lifting plan, so I figured a flare-up was likely.
