Hi all, glad to be here. It’s nice to have a place to read and chat on this journey down to 190lbs.

i hadn’t realized how much I had let myself go and had a wake up call 3 months ago when I saw a non consensual picture taken of me at the car dealership 😭

I was in the military for 10 years and really have let myself go the last few years and was feeling quite depressed about it. I took so much pride in working out and staying a healthy weight and it’s crazy how easy it is to screw it all up once you don’t have a mandated reason to stay fit.

I’m moved passed feeling sorry for myself and am already down over 65lbs in a little over 2 months.

I know it will slow down as I reach my goal weight but GLPs and a good community will make it easier to keep pushing.

Well, back to binge reading the forums 🙂

Welcome to the forum. Thats a crazy start of the progress. I wish you best of luck in your journey. You will reach your previous self in no time 🙏💪

65 pounds in 2 months is an amazing accomplishment. Really awesome stuff! I was the same way after I took a break from competition life with no mandate on

The training, pizza and chess became my mandate for a while! Wishing you continued success!

Amazing progress. Once the weight loss slows down remember that slow and steady wins the race. Trials for a lot of these drugs are to see how fast you can lose weight on them and study safety and side effects but not always the optimal rate to feel your best while doing it. Good luck on your journey.
