Weight has been a struggle for me for as long as I can remember. mounjaro came along in 2024, the weight dropped off and my food addiction looked beaten. A year and a half or so took me from 105kg down to 60kg. Life is significantly better after that — far more confident, happy and healthy. But the price of mounjaro here in the UK through official pharmacies has shot up by over a third! What cost me £200 in 2024 now runs around £320 for the same dose. That kind of money every month simply isn't realistic, so I stopped the mounjaro (around september last year). Since then I've tried to hold onto my new physique unaided, but food is constantly on my mind and binges happen, and I'm scared of going back to how life was before. So getting the medication that saved my life back in a more affordable way is what I'm keen to learn about — as much as I can about peptides. I notice most people on this forum are based in the US, so I hope the advice and tips are still useful in my situation! Excited to start this journey.
