INTRO Four weeks into reta — stacking question

Hi there, and welcome! Good to know that Reta has treated you well up to this point.

When it comes to stacking, plenty of people have shared their experiences, and you can find them right here. Searching should pull up quite a few threads.

What do you hope the stack will give you that staying on Reta by itself would not?

I don't have a specific reason—I was thinking about running Reta alongside Tirz simply to maintain elevated levels in my body, perhaps dosing on Monday and Thursday. Or possibly incorporating Tesa to target visceral stomach fat?

Stacking peps isn't something I'd call wrong, and plenty of takes exist around here, but my own view is this: when Reta by itself is delivering solid results and you're not dealing with sides, the simpler route carries less risk.

If the only goal is steadier blood levels, split dosing gets my strong backing (it also blunts sides while you titrate up). Another option is trimming your cycle length (going from 1 shot per 7 days down to 6 or 5 days), though really that amounts to a dosage increase through titration, so bear that in mind.

As long as Reta keeps doing its job for you, I'd say don't change a thing. Speaking as someone who swears by Tirz and personally didn't see much from Reta, that's still my take. Yet browse this forum or any other and you'll find plenty of folks whose results on Reta alone have been amazing.

Once you add a second compound, any unpleasant effects that show up leave you guessing which one caused them.

From my own journey: Tirz was my starting point and it worked well, until I let greed get the better of me. My plan was to layer Reta on top and eventually drop the Tirz. Instead, within 7 days I was puzzled by the disappearance of the appetite control I was used to, plus a burning-skin sensation (allodynia). I chose to go back to Tirz.

My advice, then: let Reta have its shot at working for you the way it has for so many others. Should trouble arise, reassess your approach then and return here to ask fellow community members for their input. Best of luck!

Lots of solid input here! Honestly, the urge to throw in extra compounds just to speed things along is real - ever since tesa crossed my mind, it's like every thread I open is screaming it at me lol.. Right now my schedule is every 6 days, so what dose is everyone else running? Over my first month I went 1, 2, 3, then 4mg. From what I understand, though, the clinical trials showed the strongest outcomes at doses way above that

Yes, studies do show that pushing doses up harder can produce bigger drops over the same stretch of time — but that route probably comes hand in hand with the harshest side effects…

Nobody can walk your path for you, yet for me (and plenty of others in this space), moving up only when it's actually needed has delivered results that are more than sufficient.

On my end, I'm not staring down 100+lbs of excess weight, so a gentler pace still leaves goal weight within reach. That isn't everyone's situation, and I have no idea what yours looks like.

Should your number be bigger, staying aggressive with titration will almost certainly get you there sooner — but when there's no real need, why make your body pay that price?

I get the urge to pile on extra compounds too — honestly, scrolling through what people post here and seeing everyone's stacks does spark FOMO in me at times.. Still, I do my best to let the logical "if it ain't broke don't fix it" side of my brain take the wheel. Everything I keep learning about other peps sits in my toolbox for when it's genuinely required — not as an excuse to toss things together just because they're shiny and new.
