Hi everyone,

I've been hearing about peptides for months now and have a very baseline understanding of how they work. I convinced myself for the longest time that it's some sort of scam or not what people are propping it up to be. Specifically because influencers were constantly sharing their referral codes after telling you how great they are. I was even getting disingenuous vibes from comments sharing vendors. It felt as if they were trying to sell me something and I had no idea who to trust (and still don't).

As time went on, I'd see more and more anecdotal evidence for how peptides have drastically changed peoples lives. Random YT comments, Subreddits, and even some genuine content creators (not selling anything) all reiterating the same sentiment; that this shit works when done correctly. There seems to be no reason for such a large random sample of people to be lying about something like this. Naturally, I fall down a rabbit hole, but everything I was researching felt extremely surface level. What each compound does, things not being FDA approved, risk for tumor growth (still haven't heard of a case for this), etc. It's like everytime I try to conduct research I'm left with the same cookie cutter information or creators who I feel like are censoring themselves from sharing more details. Everyone just says "You have to research" without nudging newbies in the right direction, so I suppose I'm trying to do just that here. I want to go deeper and am hoping I can find the information I need in this forum while also connecting with people who have been there and done that to learn from.

My goal is essentially to feel and look the best I possibly can without going overboard (maybe I already am by being here lol). I'm a 26(M), workout 4-5 times a week, lifting for 4-5 years, maybe 2 years consistently, 6'2 195 lbs, and am looking to cut down to 180 while body recomping, then lean bulk back up when I establish a lower body fat %. ChatGPT estimates me to be around 17-19% body fat right now. I have a decent amount of fat in my midsection, and kind of a "puffy" face despite having a visible jawline. A lot of friends and even strangers compliment my current physique, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Combine that with my Body Dysmorphia from when I was skinny and I suppose it was inevitable I ended up here. From my limited research, it seems like Reta could help me here.

I also mentioned wanting to feel the best I possibly can, and that isn't psychological. I would always be sidelined from sports or have to stop working out due to knee or pelvic or lower back pain. These injuries are always sustained from activities that involve running or jumping. I'm only 26 and would love to be active in more ways than just lifting, so think BPC-157 seems like an interesting compound with potential to help. I'm not expecting miracles, just improvements.

I believe I can naturally achieve my goals listed above through a higher sustained effort in restricting my diet more + increasing cardio, and more actively stretching to avoid injuries + strengthen ligaments. However without getting into details, I think I've mentally plateaued in certain aspects due to how much I need to focus on other aspects of my life right now and think peptides could serve as a small or even large boost in attaining my goals. Looking forward to learning more and hopefully starting a routine soon! Thanks for reading my way too long intro.

Can’t say enough good things about pelvic floor therapy (or just independent YouTube sessions) for some of the pain you’re describing.

You also seem like nutrition is a large part of your training….might I send you down the rabbit hole of fresh milled flour. You’ve been warned, it could change your entire outlook on the food pyramid! Good luck with your pep research!
