Hey all!

Just joined, and I'm a Florida native (born and raised)! Stats: M42 \ 5' 7" \ 190lbs

I've been on Peptides (Sema, Triz, and currently Reta) since 2024. Since starting, I've dropped close to 100lbs! I also hit the weights 5x per week and get in 15-20min of MITT or HITT Cardio 5x per week. I've still got 20-30lbs to go before reaching my goal weight. Only 2 weeks ago, I added Tesa\IPA to the mix.

Excited to chat with you all...sharing and picking up more as I continue my journey!

Great work on what you've achieved up to now! How does Reta compare with Tirz for you? I'm considering a possible switch, but Tirz has been giving me results I like so far l

TLDR:

Appetite suppression hit hard for me on Triz, yet Reta didn’t deliver that same punch until my dose went up.

Some background on how I got here:

My start was Semaglutide in early 2024, and I worked my way up in dose over the course of several months. Once I got to the upper range, I moved over to Tirzepatide and repeated that same slow climb. As plateaus came up, I kept switching back and forth between the 2.

Through that initial stretch (about the first couple of years), my workouts weren’t consistent and nutrition wasn’t a big focus—I leaned mostly on appetite suppression to bring my intake down.

This year, things shifted. I built a structured routine: weight training on a regular schedule, cardio, and tighter nutrition—tracking macros, putting protein first, and keeping myself in a calorie deficit.

Right around then, Retatrutide caught my attention and I gave it a shot. Since then, the scale has moved steadily, though slower than I’d personally hoped based on what earlier medications did for me. I keep tweaking things to watch how my body answers over time.

Where I’m at so far:

  • Roughly 10 lbs lost across the past few months (skeptical of the Reta)
  • Appetite suppression got better more recently once I raised my dose
  • Side effects have stayed mostly minor—just mild digestive shifts that diet tweaks have handled
Pinpointing the cause right now is tough, because the structured training and nutrition changes probably carry a lot of the weight alongside anything else.

I also added another protocol into my routine not long ago, but nothing meaningful has changed yet.

All in all, I’m still figuring out how all the pieces fit and how my body reacts as time goes on. It’s early, so I’m keeping expectations grounded and staying focused on consistency.

Hopefully this gives some context to anyone looking at similar routes.
