40yo F, living in Florida, and my glp journey has just begun — first shot went in this past Tuesday. A gastric sleeve was my bariatric surgery 10 years ago, but a baby arrived recently and with it 50 lbs that simply will not budge. Food noise is another problem I have, so that aspect of it is something I'm really looking forward to, having struggled with it even after the surgery.
An in-person doctor visit was how I got tirz prescribed, but he wanted me to start on Sema first, which was a disappointment. As I mentioned, my first dose went in on Tuesday and not much is happening yet — the food noise hasn't really been touched, though I do seem to fill up faster and there are no negative side effects.
Mid next month, once the sema is finished, tirz is probably where I'll switch over. Anyone have tips for making that switch?
