Hey everyone, I've been lurking around here for quite a while and finally decided to post something and say hello. My introduction to peptides came through a gun forum, which is pretty random, and I've been digging into the research ever since. Over the last few years, particularly after leaving the military, I've been putting on fat gradually and drinking way too much. Once the scale showed 190lbs, I knew I had to make a change. I began grey market Reta on January 3, just reached my target, and right now I'm tapering down to get off it. My starting point was 190lbs at roughly 28% bodyfat (39y/o male, 5'11"). 6 months later, I'm at 150lbs and around 13% bodyfat, and honestly Reta has been amazing! It made cutting back on drinking and overeating so much easier while I basically watched the fat disappear over a few months. I began at 1mg and worked my way up to a max of 8mg, where food noise pretty much stopped being an issue. I combined Reta with getting back into lifting and running, and it looks like I haven't lost any lean mass and may have even added some muscle.

A Hume scale was another very helpful tool. Even with their annoying marketing, I found it worked really well. Some stretches of days had zero movement in scale weight, but it showed bodyfat mass steadily decreasing. That was a huge motivator, rather than staring at a scale number that wouldn't budge! I also took photos of myself and ran them through Grok, which could estimate bodyfat and matched the Hume reading very closely, so I think it's actually somewhat accurate at least in my case.

Reta really is a gateway drug, as they say - I did a 2 month cycle of Ipa/CJC, now I take daily KLOW, and I cycle between DSIP and Epitalon which have really helped with sleep. I gave nasal Semax and Selank a try but they didn't have any effect for me, I might try subQ to see if there is any difference. I think once I'm completely off the Reta, I'll give myself a month off from poking myself all together before starting another cycle of Ipa/CJC while working towards my new goal of gaining lean mass.

Thanks! I've picked up quite a bit from this place, and I really appreciate having such a great source of knowledge!

With Reta, it's easy to end up chasing other peptides, wishing they'd deliver even 10% of what it does.
