I'm eager to gain more knowledge about using Peptides on a self directed basis. At 77, my RNY bypass surgery was 17 years back, and for the past 23 months I've been using GLP-1/2. After dropping 80 pounds, progress has stalled; my goal is to shed 15 more pounds and to add MOTS-C along with BCP-157 and TB-500, plus daily Creatine and Collagen powder. Every day I walk on uneven ground at an aggressive heart rate, but a shoulder injury 20 months ago has kept me from heavy lifting. My hope is that BPC-157 and TB-500 will assist in repairing my shoulder, and I've also torn a hamstring a couple of times in the last couple of months, so I'm hoping for substantial help with that as well.

That's incredible. As a paramedic, I deal with many individuals in your age range, and I've seen how carrying extra pounds can completely alter someone's life.

Dropping that much weight is a massive achievement. I truly hope your day-to-day life feels better now.

Great job. Don't stop now!

I appreciate that. Since I began, my quality of life has gotten much better. For years I was drinking heavily -- more than 1 bottle of wine daily -- and once I took my first GL-1, every bit of craving for alcohol disappeared. Through 23 months that has stayed the same; the desire simply isn't there. My wife likes champagne multiple evenings each week, and it doesn't bother me at all that she does.

I've been encouraging my wife (she is 77 too) to try Reta. She might be about 10 pounds over her ideal weight, but her knee pain has been terrible. For a decade she has gotten 3 Euflexxa shots every 6 months, and the relief isn't what it used to be. On top of that, she has a bulging lumbar disc and severe pain from bone spurs in her thumb. Along with these orthopedic problems, she has a rare Leukemia, LGL, for which she is on wait and watch -- though cytopenia is a continual concern, and the LGL has likely driven her Hashimoto's disease hypothyroid condition, which was found when an acute dissociation episode put her in a hospital and her TSH came back at 42. With 88mg of Synthroid taken daily, her hypothyroidism is controlled and her TSH and T4 levels are normal. She has undergone 2 MRI's so far: 1 showed abnormal portal shunts in her liver, and the other (the most recent) showed no portal shunts but did reveal a suspected cyst on her pancreas, and another MRI is set for Oct. My hope is that Reta would bring less inflammation throughout her body, including her knee, and perhaps ease her knee, back and thumb pain.
